Concrete recommendations to enhance the well-being and digital capacity of older adults, while promoting green and sustainable practices.
Developed within the Erasmus+ project Body and Earth: Ecosomatic Practices for Green Ageing (BEEPGA), this guidebook offers evidence-informed recommendations addressing three interconnected challenges facing Europe's ageing population: population ageing itself, the climate crisis, and digital exclusion.
The guidebook is grounded in a mixed methods research design: 9 focus group interviews and a survey of over 150 respondents across Italy, Lithuania and Greece, combined with academic and policy literature. It is organised into three thematic sections: green and healthy ageing, climate awareness, and digital literacy. Each section pairs conceptual grounding with practical tools designed for workshops.
Designed for adult educators and trainers, social workers and caregivers, community organisations and NGOs, workshop facilitators, and older adults pursuing self-directed learning.
